Lake Havasu is still a small town, but the commercial development opportunities are abundant. In early spring of 2008 two of the anchor stores at the new mall opened up at the "Shops at Lake Havasu Regional Lifestyle Center", near the Home Depot and across from the airport. There will soon be a Super Wal-Mart, many other shops and boutiques, as well as a new larger Cinema, some terrific restaurants and a new auto mall.
This commercial development will attract residents from other nearby communities, such as Kingman, Bullhead City, Parker and Golden Valley. It will bring needed jobs, money and tax revenue to Lake Havasu that will benefit our local economy. It will also make Havasu a more desirable place to live, which will boost our local real estate market.
